I'm gonna take my bike to a tuner in denver next week and am wondering what if any gains I will see from a guhl reflash?

Go to the Ivan thread and ask Ivan what flash means so you know what the tuner is going to do to the bike. I believe it is a two step process? Yes, you can change to a flash setting and stop tuning. But with the fuel map to re-smooth the re-flash, it would be a waste not to close that tune out with some PC work.
Better listen to Ivan's directions. If you are going to drag race the bike, then flash and tune. If you are going to live with the extra twitch when it's flashed, you live with that hit. Some like that raggedge feel to the throttle; where others don't.
This is what you might expect. However, what the smoothing out does is adds fuel to the overall power curve. This tends to make the engine run smoother, has more grunt along the power curve. You are missing the boat with a flash only.

You tell Don Guhl what you want.
1) what exhaust system
2) how much of a rev limit increase
3) remove top speed limit
4) open flies aggressively
He will then make suggestions.
Don Guhl knows as much as Ivan, maybe more, about tuning.
Once it is flashed, if you didn't have him alter the A/F and Ignition tables by going to his physical location in PA and having a number of dyno runs done, you will still need the piggy.
When I go to Guhl later this summer, he will alter my A/F and Ignition tables because Kawasaki's ECU tables on the 2010+ Connies are terribly conservation (rich) and limit streetable horsepower severely. Guys with Connies who have it done say its a completely different bike after Don dynos 4 or 5 times and then uses that to flash new values into those tables.

privateer, Give a heads up when you are heading to Guhl. I may meet you up there. I spoke to Don about a month ago. It's still too humid for a great tune.
